For over thirty years, we have worked the timber stands along the state line. We do not view the forest as a simple volume of lumber to be cleared, but as a living landscape requiring quiet stewardship, deliberate thinning, and deep respect for the seasons.

Founded by Thomas Ross, Stateline Firewood and Logging, LLC was built on a simple premise: professional forest management and premium wood products should go hand-in-hand. Over three decades of hands-on logging have taught us that a healthy forest is a productive one. By specializing in Forest Stand Improvement (FSI), we partner with landowners of ten acres or more to secure the long-term vitality of their timberlands.
Our operations are disciplined and low-impact. We work alongside conservation agencies like the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) to execute projects that preserve soil integrity, improve wildlife habitats, and reduce hazardous fuel loads. The wood we harvest through these conservation efforts is never wasted—it is seasoned, processed, and delivered back to the community as premium firewood and durable, rough-cut pine lumber.
By owning and operating our own small fleet of transport vehicles, we retain complete control over our supply chain. This means we avoid the high overhead of third-party logistics, allowing us to pass those savings directly down to the homeowners and business owners who rely on us for warmth and building materials.
